Well, Not free but coming from a DJ,
Mix Meister Pro works quite well for making mixes, PCDJ RED for live performance on MP3

Yeah, I saw that as well but was looking for a free app. I used to DJ about 15 years ago and I was just hoping to get some software to put together some mixes.
