With 525's that boat will run about 85 MPH on a good day. It is a solid 80-82 MPH boat. The ride in the 30 deck will be better than a 34' V.
The ride is good, and the high freeboard is nice. The automatic bimini is great for quick shade and then to take down for a quick ride is so simple.
A good friend of mine has one that he may be selling with 525's. He simply doesn't use it enough. PM me if interested.

What do you think in surance would be on this thing with 525s or 496HO's? Is it considered a deck or a cat, and do they take HP into consideration by total or by motor x2?

I saw a couple of them this weekend. They looked very nice. Clean lines.

Top speed is the issue. if it is over 75, you have issues with higher insurance.
I have seen these for $2k per year, up to $5k/year for those over 80 MPH.
Markel is high on these boats. You are better off trying to get your current agent to write it as a deck boat since they have all your other biz. Group everything together as a package and some underwriters may bite on the whole package.
House, autos, boat, life, umbrella, moto toys, etc.

Those 30's are big. I have a friend who has one. They even make my E-ticket look small. :)

It's a HUGE boat. It dwarfs a 28'.
You should see it on the trailer.
