Who has one of these? I just bought mine while visting family in Orange at the sharper image at the main place mall. Thought it was really cool looking so I bought one. Well mine leaks! After about 2 days in my pool the damn thing leaks water inside of it and malfuctions. Just wondering if anyone here on the boards besides me has this digital pool thermometer and has had the same problem?

yeah the unit is really neat. It transmits the pool temp to a unit up to 100 ft away. I have e-mailed sharper image and told them about my issue.

one of our dogs thinks that the thermometers, chlorine floats, etc... are his personal games/chew toys. i would love to have one like that but....

This is a real digital thermometer for the pool.Raytek ST20 PRO. I use it in my solar pool heating biz. They are about $180 if you are a contractor,$320 retail. The ones that float are a gimicky toy. They will at some point leak. You got lucky, you still have the receipt.
