Speaker cover design(s) contest

We're looking for a couple new designs for some covers, one that's 'generic' (maybe similar to Rons' Classic design) and one more, it can have primarily boater or automotive/truck appeal.
The winner's get a pair of 6.5" covers, their choice of style. :)
I was thinking of putting the designs online here in two weeks or so along with a poll to see what people like.

yeah but you did it for yourself. It's not like you were asking people here to do it for you for free. And I know what an indepent design engineer charges so 2 6" grills is pretty much for free.
I have an idea. :idea: Seeing as this is the boating world you might as well just splash the other guys. Why be similar when you could be just like it? J/K of course.

Actually, I think I had the chicks first. I remember seeing those after I first posted mine. I could be worng though, but when I made those, I had not seen another yet to be made. Xtreme makes some nice stuff.

Just put DCB on them, and you'll be able to retire. They'll put them in their boat....car....truck....Rhino....motorhome.....tra iler.....house.....golf cart....etc.

Having looked at what you currently offer as well as Rons and Xtreme I would suggest providing a deisgn that can be used in any boat. As you said, soemthing along the lines of Rons Classic. All the tribal and flame stuff is geared to boats with those graphics, IMHO, and the checkers are geared towards the Eliminators. Or how about just a basic speaker grill with grooves/openings. Make them available in a variety of powdercoat colors and and REASONABLE on price and I think you'll have a winner.
