I just got back from a camping (rv) trip today and the first thing I did when I got home was got online and ordered a "Weber Baby Q". I got it from Amazon.com with a cart for $168. A lot of people like it, so I figured I give it a try. I was using a little Weber charcoal grill, however, it's beginning to be a pain. A friend of mine has that ice chest/grill combo and it's prettty cool too. I just prefer having a separate ice chest/grill. Good luck on your decision.

I used to see a boat at the sandbar all the time with the ultimate grill on his swimstep, the boat name is "The Panacea" has anyone else seen it ? I haven't seen him in awhile though.

I also say the Webber Q is
We have the full size Q at home and the Baby Q for the Motor Home.
Small Propane Cylinders go right in or get a hose adapter and run it off a tank.

Another vote for the Weber Q grill. A great design, used it for everything when I lived at the condo. When I moved to the house, I got a bigger Weber, and keep the "Q" for camping and picnics.
It has a heavy, cast-iron grill that does a really nice job of transferring heat to brown, sear, and "mark" your meat. I use a small smoker box with wood chips for flavor.
That grill, by itself, weighs more than the rest of the "Q". About 20 lbs? The optional $ 40.00 canvas bag with wheels stores it neat and clean, and makes it truly portable.
It uses the thinner, "blue" bottles (think propane torch) for fuel - not the green "Coleman lantern" size bottles. I just used an adapter and the big bottle at home.
One time, we cooked 4 Tri-tips at once for a graduation party, and it did the job...

I've seen that big ocean boat in the channel with the big stainless BBQ many a time, but not this year.

In town meaning RSM or LHC you still have a month to go. I can't believe you and Mel still go to the Desert Martini

Good local watering hole. The place I want to try is Nancy's Icehouse. I hear it's good also.

Nothing but the best for my river folk. http://www.***boat.com/image_center/data/520/536BBQ_125.jpg
It's a wood pellet fired BBQ that comes form Traeger BBQ in Oregon. The BEST I've ever used hands down. Absolute control over heat and smoke. This thing will grill, smoke, bake brownies, whatever. My model is the BBQ 125. Check out the Traeger (http://www.traegerindustries.com/) website for more info. Incredible BBQ.
