I have a 2005 1500 Silverado Crew Cab truck. The stocker tires are already bald with only 15,000 miles on them. I cant remember the brand off the top of my head right now but these tires just dont and wont grab. I was wondering if any of you guys had recommendations on a brand/model tire to get. I dont plan on going bigger or chaning rims or anything right now. I figure i'll stick with the same size for the most part. A wider tire might be nice.
Anyway just looking for recommendations. These tires this last weekend spun the hole way off the ramp towing two little seado's.

The BFG all-terrain is a very good and very popular tire...also look into the pro-comp tires, I have been extremely happy with my mud-terrains, 35k+ miles and still going. I am going to buy the pro-comp all-terrains when these are done.

WOW, my 2001 ranger 4x4 still has the stock goodyear wranglers on the front at 60k miles. I'm going to have to change them soon though.

I'm on my third set of Nitto Terra Grapplers, and for an all-terrain, I couldn't be happier. I had nothing but trouble with BFG's and won't ever buy them again.

I run Bridgestone Dueller AT Revo's... awesome 50,000+mile tire.
