Now we all know that Jay goes above and beyond to stoke people out on their new Chevrolet purchase, but I think he has hit an all-time new high when it comes to customer service, or he has just gone off the deep end.
You see, my dad called up Jay about a month ago and ordered up his dream car, a brand new Corvette. He was all set to come down and pick the new car up when it came in, but Jay insisted that he would deliver the car to my dad. Know this sounds pretty common for Jay, as I've read about his great service on these forums, but my dads deal was a bit different.
You see, not only did my dad not see the car, sign the papers or anything, he doesn't exactly live around the corner from Jay's dealer in Orange, California either. You see, my dad lives about a 700 mile round trip away in Bishop, California and Jay personaly delivered the car to my dad with a full tank and all of the bugs cleaned off the car from the long drive. Know if that's not customer service, I don't know what is.
Jay, my dad just wants you and everyone else to know how greatfull he is and that you have earned a customer for life. Thank you very much and keep up the excellent work.

When I bought my company truck from him I thought he was nuts for offering to deliver it to me 20 miles away. But this is above the call of duty. Beside what a great excuse to get out of the office and cruise up there on Selmans gas and then go spring skiing or fishing.

Right on, Tom. Jay ROCKS!
He delivered my Aveo with a full tank, two wh0res in the back, and in the glove compartment... a pipe with his business information engraved on the side, a couple of lighters, and a small bag of rock.
Jay spells customer service with a capital 'F'!

Yeah, I'm really excited. :)
The board crawled up my ass for a few minutes and wouldn't let me post. I was clicking the submit button like Anna Nicole working over her clit on family day at the senior center.

I have not met or talked to Jay, but from what i've read and seen in black & white here, he must be a really , really cool sales guy, I may see what he can do on my 2003 Siverado 1500-xtnd cab on a trade for a new 2006/2007 1500 Crew cab, he won't have to deliever, but if he can make a smokin real deal, i'd certainley come out there, most of the chevy dealers here in phx area seem to be real hi-press putzes when trying to make a deal. I'm already preapproved so the bucks are there.
Whattya all think ?
Jay's # would also be appreciated.
Scott.

He just wanted to drive the Vette on the mountain roads while on Company Time, :D
Jay, or one of his crew, have delivered 2 vehicles to me. In Parker. Both times cleaned of the road bugs and full of fuel. Above and beyond the call of duty.
I think they need to get of that guy on TV from Towbin's, and make Jay and Selman the new "KING OF CARS".

I hate to even call Jay a car salesman  , it does not do him Justice.
"Chevy King", is more along the lines of his professionalism. Too Cool Jay! You rock!

Like all here on the boards I too have read all the great things Jay has done for everyone.... About 6 wks ago we were looking for a HHR for our youngest daughter. Called Jay, spent maybe 10 mins on the phone, and bam the car was delivered to my office the next morning at 8:30AM.. I was stunned and in disbelief at the no BS, bottom line, most PAINLESS process I've ever went through... We are on our 9th Chevy and only recently found Jay. Needless to say, he'll be getting all the rest..
