I have a Carrera 257 Effect closed bow and want to put a nice sound system in it. I live in the San Jose area so would prefer someone up here but So. Calif. is not out of the question if any of you guys have some recommendations in that area. Thank you.

Audio Chamber in Yorba Linda is the bomb. They did my friends Conquest and it is sick. Don't know the number off hand. If you call them ask for Jonathon.
Peace out,
Shiznit

"Wired for Sound" in Temecula, CA does a LOT of boat installs, and I have heard nothing but excellent things about them for the last year. -DD out

OK, Roz, now I gotta give references, too?
OK, Robbie Racer..bring it by...I got an idiot light and a couple caps...I only charge $300/hour...
Seriously though, although I've never used them, I'd try Rolling Thunder in San Rafael (www.rtaudio.com). They did that "Thunderdome" boat, and have been known to do some very high-end installs.
Blown Lavey- I think Roz has a soldering gun...he should be able to help you...

Blown Lavey, If you're in the Tyler mall area, drop the unit off at our Tweeter location. They will send the unit here to our repair facility where I can try to get it bumped up to the front of the line. Service guys are like cops, they love doughnuts. http://free.***boat.net/ubb/biggrin.gif

Garry,
It is in the same shopping center as the Target and Mervyns. It is in the southeast corner of the parking lot, adjacent to the Tyler onramp to the WB 91. Real easy to find.
PS Sorry we missed the b-day party, I was helping my sweetie move that weekend.

Blown Lavey. You will need your receipt for warranty work. Riverside 3502 Tyler St. (909) 509-1600 The store manager is Elmer Patterson I will alert him that you may be in. Let him know that Chris from Corporate sales sent ya. They will issue a workorder for the repair and send it to our location. Email(profile) me with the workorder number so I can have it pulled once it gets here...I've already spoken with the guys in the service center to be on the look out. Sometimes we send units to an outside servicer, but we will make sure it gets taken care of here.
Chris
What's the problem with the unit? No power? Buttons inop? cd not working? Error message when using changer?

The remote turn on switch keeps crapping out.I had a relay installed so I could use the system during the summer. Also can you get me one of the remote commanders as well. If you have a number where I can cotact you let me know.
Thanks Garry.

Robbie Racer, Wired For Sound in Temecula is the place.. Adam will take care of you with a first class system, plus he'll take care of you down the road as well if anything should ever go wrong.

Robbie Racer and Blown Lavey, I am very familiar with the (909) and all the stereo shops in the area. I have some great recommendations and some strong opinions on who to stay awy from. I don't like to "bash" anyone on a public forum, so feel free to E-mail me at Bigburban@hotmail.com and I will point you in the right direction. Jeff

No finer install location than Rolling Thunder (as HH said) in San Rafael. When I do own my future Ferrari I will bring it there for the install. Any truly trick stuff I would highly reccommend getting done there.
They also do normal installations, so don't let the high end capacity scare you. They do have a state-wide reputation though, and are the best in the business.

Audio chamber is the best. They are located in Yorba Linda CA.The rigging is flawless and they carry top notch stuff. They did my last boat and my new conquest, and it bumps hard. His name is Jonathan and he is a one man operation so it takes about a week or so per boat.Go there you won't be sorry, his number is 714-996-2202.
