i thinking about re financing my current boat loan. wanna drop that monthly payment down. whtas the going interest rate these days on say 180 months, $33,000 w/700-750 credit score? anyone?? that would be puting another ten grand toward the principle. thanks for any recent info -jas

Should be whatever you want with that score....

And they are going to go even higher you can bet on it. I'm glad I'm not the only one who cant sleep, by the way I love your sig line. I have seen stickers like that but cant seem to find them, of course if I put them on my truck I would be mob lynched at Food City during the winter :notam: NSF

Get a sticker in small print. They won't be able to read it.

In the 7's. If you need somebody to do the loan let me know. I have a guy I have used for a while. And I ref him all the time, he has great rates and does a great job.

Jason have you called Mellissa with Essex??? She should be able to set you up pretty good. I was at 7.49 % When I got loan. However that was sometime ago....They have a low of 6.75% fixed right now.

Why? other than the interest writeoff. Aren't HELOC's adjustable?
If you are looking at a 6 or 8 year note who knows what rate you could be paying in a couple years.

I just got 6.5% fixed at America First Credit Union last week. Awesome to deal with and close to home.

thats my bank! hmmmm. Chris, i was just fishing to get a feel for the current rates to see ifit would be worth while. sounds like it is. i think i pay 11% right now so i can cut my payment almost in half. we're redoing all our finances right now and should get to handling the boat here before summers end. thanks everyone-jas
