It's margarita time and the electric blender isn't up to another year of crushing ice.
What's the best brand, size and source of electric blender to buy?
Thanks

it doesn't matter what brand or type of blender you have and here is why......
if you got the right liquors and mix then you got the right juice..................
so with that said get yourself some sammy hagar blue agave tequila. you know that shine in a blue bottle. its the best tequila in the world. even better than sammys own gold tequila. now put 2x as much of that into a jug that you do of hirams triple sec. mix that with some of Jose Cuervos sweet & sour mix (the kind that premade in a bottle ready 2 drink). NOTE: use twice as much mix as chug or fat gurls may appear attractive. throw a float of almandrado on top with a twist of lime and enjoy the ride on down the river

YES!!!
I was balking at getting this because that's a pretty steep price for a blender, but the $50 code swung me. Now, for once, I'll be giving the good gift for our anniversary!!
My wife always buys me some cool stuff and I always flake until the last minute and get her crap.
FYI, shipping is $23.

Have 2 frontgates in the CC for SC Tailgating, since they stopped allowing beer sales in the Coli before last season

That recipe gives me a stomach ache just thinking about it.....you're drinking 4 gal of mix and water (even though it's ice...it's still water :yuk: ) and about 2 quarts of tequila.....it's about 2% alcohol.
Forget the blender, blended margarita's are for girls who don't want to drink or get drunk.
A "real margarita" is like this:
Fill a martini shaker with ice.
Add 2 or 3 shots of good tequila and 1 shot of triple sec
Add the juice from 1 fresh lime
Shake like hell, pour in chilled, salted glass
Float some Grand Marnier
It's all liquor.....and forget that damn mix forever, that shit just makes you sick!
Drink it like that...and you don't have to drink all the dam ice either....:D

Or, go to Henessey's in Dana Point, ask for Mike's "low carb" margi on the rocks (no mix....lots of liquor), best in So Cal....:D
