For all of you who have read our story about our 2 1/2 year old son who went into full arrest on Friday June 9 at the Nautical Inn I wanted to post this information.
The two firemen who SAVED my sons life are being recognized at the Peoria, AZ City Hall on Wednesday, June 21st. If anyone is in the area it would be great if you could come by and help recognize two men who went out of their way on their vacation to help my son. My husband, son and I will be driving up to attend the ceremony, I hope that anyone who is available will also try to come.
If you want more info and/or are going to try to come, PM me and I will give you our cell numbers as we are leaving CA tomorrow night around 6pm.
Thanks,
Kathy

It is going to be at the Peoria City Hall. One works in Peoria and the other in Scottsdale but they are recognizing them both at the one ceremony. I can't wait to meet them under different circumstances.

Congratulations! You and your family are very lucky to have such skilled help nearby. These guys stepped up and made it right. I have a good friend in Vegas who is a Paramedic/Life Flight Medic and believe me, those guys do more good in one month then anyone else could do in a lifetime...
They truly are heroes. Our family hopes all the best for your son's full recovery. :)

My son got his head caught in the "built in ice chest" on the boat and cut off this oxygen and eventually everything in about 2-4 minutes. We do not use it as such though. If you want to read the whole story or get more details I have posted pictures in my thread "Attention Advantage Boat owners" and the story under "Little boy at the Nautical Inn on Friday 6/9/06" I am trying to get the word out about the potention danger that exists. I never would have thought he wasn't safe on the boat.

Yes it was. I guess I put more details under the warning to Advantage boat owners thread. It was such an emotional rollercoaster, I can't remember what I did.

I could imagine the roller coaster. I thought he was just stuck in there. I didnt know the severity. You must be so relieved that he is OK now.
