20 years or older...your boats to young :) Bring a friend with an older boat, or just come by to check out the past

Do a search for CBBB. There have been several Classic Boat Beach Bashes in the past at the AVI. I don't think they are have an official CBBB this year due to some liability issues so you may already have a crowd by default.
:)
Forensic
Yes, I successfully sued the CBBB and found them liable for providing the cleanest fun found on the Colorado River. With the exception of one angry little boater, too many people are having a good time and NOT getting hurt. This is very bad for my business. The Brothers Lloyd are well known and must be stopped.

If I can get enough members to join acbs, we can form a chapter, and have the required insurance through acbs's insurance. That is why at this point it is unofficial.
ACBS just had an "official event" at Lake Arrowhead sponsored by the southern California Chapter. If you know anything about Lake Arrowhead, its an insurance nightmare to put a boat on the lake.

Remember this is not a ***boat event, but a gathering of old boats, and there owners. Breakfast and Lunch at the marina....in the off season, but the weather and water are usually nice for boating, and the drinks at the bar cold.

Thing's are shaping up pretty quick. Here is the Website of the unofficial
"Arizona Chapter of the Antique & Classic Boat Society" Website

It is in the making, and at this time just a Membership Drive event to make us official.
Seeking Web designer acbs member to develop web page. This is a non profit organization.

Were now at 12 confirmed boats, and this is the first day. Should be over 100+ by October 7th 2006.
Remember this is a regatta for pre-1987 boats. Next year will be pre-1988.
20 years or older is a classic boat.
PM me and post if your going. I should have more unofficial information in the days and weeks to come.
If your coming from SoCal were approximately 2 hrs east of Blythe, off of I-10 and a 1/2 hour North. Camping/RV hookup available at marina.

Should not be a problem at the marina.
Also it's not be a problem on the lake. Bring it, launch it, run it early, tie it up, and enjoy breakfast at the marina's bar and grill. You don't run a boat like that all day anyway. Weather should be cool enough in the morning to run a boat like that.
Remember pre-1987 between 8am and 2pm. Were gaining speed.
