I'm in the market of selling my L, due to needing a larger tow rig.. It's a 1 owner Black 03.. i purchased it in Maryland when i lived there, it had 3 miles on it.. I currently live in the Long Beach CA area and she has approximately 53,000. This truck is clean and is 1 of 1036 black L's made in 03 (documented with SVT). It has NEVER been in a accident nor been repainted. no dents, only small stone chips on the front chin from highway use. The bed has been used so there are marks and chips. I drove it across country and it drove like a dream.. I'm not looking for a trader because i'm in the market for large SUV.. She has a lower 4 pound pulley, JDM cat back system and a K&N. 2 gauge piller mount with boost and air /fuel auto meter (which i can remove).. i have all the stock parts pulley, airbox that will go with the truck.
I do have a small system installed but i can easly remove it if you don't want it.. Apline head unit DVD with XM, 500watt Amp, 12 sub and tweeter and mids.. i have the stock head unit 6 disk that can be installed..
She has a LoJack system( $900) installed that will go with the truck.
Two new rear tires were installed approximately 3000 miles ago and new brakes were installed (powerslot rotors fronts and stock back with new pads)

This is not a "race" truck but my "tow" truck.. it has been down the 1/4 3 times in one night netting a 13.0 at around a 105mph and once down the 1/8 here in CA. This truck has NOT been ragged out, trust me
i just did a complete tune up replacing all the spark plugs and fuel filter, she runs great.. I'm truly going to miss this truck, shes my baby (well second to my Grand National)
asking $24,000 firm on the price..
PM me if you need more photos.
thanks,
mike

She dynoed 610rwhp & 650tq on 22psi.. is this a stock v6 block with working a/c and heat. this car is still driven on the street and gets about 17mpg with a really soft tune.. in race tune and C16 gas i netting a 10.30 at 130mph in the 1/4. i haven't raced it with my NEW 28psi tune but it should be in the 9's at around 138 or 140mph and rwhp should be around 660. not bad for a 3500lb car without the driver  ..

Beautiful ride. how bad are the stress cracks on the car with the T-tops? when i was in the market for a GN, everycar i looked at with T-tops that was hopped up had stress cracks at the A-pillar.

i have owned my GN for about 9 years now.. i purchased her when she was almost stock.. the first thing i did was installed all new body bushings and beefed up the frame with Kirbin's performance kits.. That helped out alot.. once i started making real power, i installed the 6 point cage. later this year .
I'm finishing up the cage to a 10 point (due to me dipping into the 9's) so i won't have any problems with the NHRA tracks around here in CA.
I have TONS of launchs at 17psi off the foot brake and about 15 runs under my belt with 15 psi launchs off the trans brake. With all this i have NEVER had cracks between the doors and the rear window. Plus my T-tops are still removeable during those amazing sunny days..

Nice truck. I chased one one day when I was in L.E. and it was very fast. The guy wrecked into a telephone poll and rolled the truck, so there is at least one less black one out there... ;)

Giving props here :)
The interior in these Lightenings SVT's is nothing I have ever seen in other vehicles. It is the softest material, suede or something.
I also do believe the lightenings are a V8.
Nice truck. I would love to own one ext cb in white. And they are fast too.

Well the Lightning went to her new home this Friday. So i took a drive to Vegas yesterday to pick up my new rig.. 05 X with the V10 with only 19K miles.. now i can tow some weight (11K), not like the 5000 the Lightning could only handle.. Hopefully i can now more on getting a larger boat (30 to 33 footer).
also just finished tinting her today (looks evil with blacked out windows)..

i think everything i own has that option :rollside: .. i can't wait to watch move when i start towing 10,000lbs.. the only thing i can say is "it's only money".....
