I know a guy looking to finance a boat. It is a 86 21' Daytona with a 502 Chevy, super clean, the price is $19k. Anyone here know of a place I can direct him to?

Best bet with something like that would be a credit union. Not many boat loan places will loan on something that old (in the banks eyes old), and more than likely the blue book on it will be something like $10K and then they'll only loan like 80% of that anyway.

Went through it with my Schiada when I sold it. Had a credit union loan the buyer the money, and I took a bunch of comps down from the boat trader and showed them that the value was in the boat and then they were OK with it.
