Late last friday evening, on my way back to the channel, the boat suddenly shuttered and slowed. I shut everything down and discovered that I had no forward or reverse. My first thought was that an error was made in the service that I had done the prior day. Took the boat in on Saturday to have the service work double checked for errors. No errors were found, however there was still no indication of what went wrong. Gary had pulled the outdrive for me to double check the work....believed that at this point it was internal and probably under warranty.. He made a call to Doug at Alco who said they would look at it right away. at 10 am I towed the boat up to Alco, with the outdrive in the back of my truck.......by 2pm I was back on the water. (broken main shaft) 100% warrantly zero charge.
