Ordered after January boat show, took us 2 months to figure out the options we wanted, should be ready finally in 2 weeks!
We can hardly wait!!!!...saving all our vacation time for after we get it, sweating on the new boat payment, insurance, and paying for trip gas at the same time... (replacing a 1983 Eliminator 19' Formula jet)...looking forward to a smooth Havasu ride for a change.
This pic was last weekend, going to visit it again this weekend to see how it's coming along...25' 2007 Eliminator Daytona open bow w/525.
...Eliminator Boats..what a pleasurable buying experience (those guys sure go the extra customer mile)!

A shame to cut open that beautiful deck. Slows the boat substantially and changes the weight distribution...

That's one opinion, and some true information.
I personally think you will love the open bow. My whole crew of 8 and sometimes 10 people are all open bow lovers and wouldn't have a boat any other way. Good for you.

Yeah, it's much better to have a $100k+ boat that comfortably seats 4 people. ;)
LOL.

Shockwave, some of the slightly more expensive boats will seat 5...

You've got a point, there.
I've even seen some $400,000 poker runners with SIX seats!!!!

The open bow is my request so we can still take the family out...ElimJim wanted the speed. Fact of life: Compromise is necessary to make a relationship work...

I can't ever see myself having a bowrider...so tired of yelling "Down in front!" all the time.....then again, I have never seen a bowrider vector...pretty sure I'm safe on that one....watch someone post a pic now.....

Sweetie, you don't need to justify your open bow. You have already won many hearts with your choice.
Passing 12 years of happy marriage due to finding many compromises. Good for you. :)

It all depends where you boat. If you boat camp the closed bow would be better. For me the advantages of a open bow is when your beached, you don't have to swim around or worry about getting sand on the bow to get in every time you have to get something out of the boat, especially in the winter brrrr. We don't boat with alot of people so vision isn't a problem. The only time in 20 years at Havi that I wish I had a closed bow was in T-storms where the water is coming thru the open bow like a water fall. My .02
