I did a job for a fellow that gave me one of these. Not quite as nice as this one in the pic, but its the same deal. He claims it runs better than 65 mph.... :2purples: Its a 98 Kawasaki 1100.
I promise to do my best not to turn in front of you real boaters..... :220v: :p

The 1100 Kawi has a real reliable motor, it is also very strong, 65mph will only happen on the dreamOmeter, it is more like 59mph GPS.

Tune in next week as we find or Hero, Mandy. Will He:
-lose all control of his motor functions and do continuous donuts in the middle of the lake for no apparent reason?
-Drive by other boats very closely standing up with his feet waaaay back, as if to say..."I'm the very best pwc driver you've ever seen, huh"
-ignore any and all rafted-together boats and cruise by at about 15mph, throwing out the mother of all phuch u wakes!
-lose all ability to turn his head from side to side almost assuring a close call collision within the first hour of launch!?
These and other questions will be answered on the next episode of:
"As the Lake Lice Smokes"

Ditto, I believe stock was listed 57.9.
When I bought mine I didn't listen to the most important advice that John, the owner of Simi Valley Kawasaki gave me:
"Don't let anyone ride it, they'll wreck it".

Nice ski Mandelon. I had a Kaw. ZXI 900 triple that had a few mods on it.
It would easily run 60 all day.
Congrats on the purchase have fun.

It was a cool freebie for me....of course we will see how free it is. It needed a battery and a seat.....so far...its at the shop now getting checked out.
The trailer is in really good shape, with the exception of the lights. Even the tires look good.
The guy I got it from gives us a ton of work, so I did his bathroom as a favor really, but he threw this ski in to make it a little more fair.
We are spending a lot more time down near Martinez and there are a ton of little channels and shallows I have wanted to explore.....
I promise to look both ways before I try to jump your wakes..... :p

I just picked up the same ski and year. You'll love it... I picked it up for when we are just sitting around the sandbar and wanted to toy around on something. This past week was the first time we ran it and it does no more than 60mph but it was fun. You can be as safe as can be on those things, you just have to watch out for all the other tools out there.

Thats kinda what I meant............I'd bet $100 that 75% or more of the newer buyers of sit downs couldn't ride the old stand ups......it took talent not financial credit ;) :)
.
When are you guys going to bring your boat up on Havasu again? Be cool to see you guys again.
