My wife lived in Sweden and I can tell you it is a free for all over there on the roads. They pulled all the cops off the roads! Laid off a bunch and put the rest behind desks. Do what you want. It's a riot.
Ever been to Russia? The cars have the right away not pedestrians.....LOL...If you hit someone walking you get a like a $10 ticket and when the light turns you better not be crossing the street. People are revving their engines waiting for the light to change. It's nutz...LOL...ahhh memories. :p

BTW , I've spent 8 mths in Italy in the early 70's , and only saw one accident the whole time. An Alfa hit the curb and rolled up the side . There were 6 million registered vehicles [ cars , trucks , vespas , lambrettas etc......] just in Rome alone at that time ,and I had to go around the Colosseum 4 times before I could get out of the traffic flow. The red lights meant absolutely nothing . They changed the streets to one way later to be able going around the city at all , because of gridlocks and mexican stand offs in one lane roads .
