Well I guess I gotta break down and buy a new dryer, and washer too. I've been putting it off, but the dryer started squeaking today...and now Mama aint happy ! So does anyone have a hookup on washers/dryers. I think I'm gonna go with the Whirlpool Duet. Any suggestions ?

We just went through this mess about 3-4 months ago. We searched and found the best deals at Sears.

Not sure if Home Depot carries Whirpool, but 20% off coupons are very readily available on Ebay for VERY cheap and can save you a bunch of money and the Home Depot coupon may be honored by other competitors. Bought a bitchen swamp cooler for the Havasu garage last night and saved just about $100 with the $13 coupon I bought.

I swear I saw those at Costco, but only in silver.
I think Sears has a good warranty deal though.

I don't think so, you can use, abuse and return for a full refund for whatever period of time it is with just about NO questions asked. Their vendors/suppliers take it in the shorts this way, but the immense volume takes care of most problems and return rates.

We bought the duet over at costco. They have the same price as sears but the warranty was better. 2 years at costco and 1 year at sears.
