For you people who own homes at the River, we have a roof top air conditioner and we have lived in the home built new in 2001. Does anyone do anytype of service to them. If so what....

Everyone services rooftops. If they don't and are that lazy, you don't want them.
Most A/C shops are running two weeks worth of calls now though.
If it's running ok then you're fine.
Springtime is a good time to have the pressures checked, vet vac the cond drain lines, and check the airfilter.
Some units have miniscule 10 year leaks, so it's good to catch it before the big heat hits.

I have a semi-annual maintence contract with Kool Wave A/C 928 855-5665. About $250 a year.

Kool Wave as noted above. Service 2 times a year and keep those filters fresh. You'll notice a difference.

Just out of curiosity, why do they put them on the roof out there and not here in California. Is there some type of advantage?
