I seem to remember someone had one for sale that was a bare hull. It was an i/o, Red and white I think. I have a 78' 20ss v drive, but it's not for sale. Well, not yet anyway. I've seen a few on traderonline.com from time to time. I'll keep an eye out.

I don't want a bare hull, but one that needs some work is ok. I bought a new one when they came out in 78. Even raced it offshore. They ride fantastic even in the rough water. Hated to get rid of it but the toys have to go when you get divorced. Let me know if you decide to sell. I might even consider a Schiada if the condition and the price is right.

This is the first cruiser I've had, so nothing to really compare it to, but it does ride nice. It really handles the chop well. I don't know much about the history of these hulls. Were they used to race much?

I saw some ski racers once but thats all. I'm done with racing offshore stuff. Too expensive these days. I only race stock outboards now.
