you gotta make a trip to Saskatchewan Canada. I found three early 70 chevelles, 5 1956 chev short box step side P/u's , a 80% mint 57 caddy and a pile of other restorable trucks and cars on my last trip...alll sitting in farmers fields ....if only I didnt have a wife! ..I'll be picking up more! the Camino needs minimal work 29000 original miles ..the gas, clutch and brake pedals dont even look used!

Sounds like a good trip. I lived 60 miles south of the border in Kalispell Mt. For a long time. We made many a trip up there. I would still be there if I could make any money. Sounds like a sweet elco. Good luck with it. I know what you mean about the wife thing. If I was not married I would be broke, but I would have a lot more toys........

It sat for 25 years outside, the owners kid( bodyman) did two small rust repairs in the typical rear qaurters. repainted it. It needs some interior chrome need redoing. it had 3 on the tree, now its on the floor. the three speed has to go. Original 71 350 motor was rebuilt with a new Quadrajet. the exhaust needs replacing. the body and int is in incredible shape for the age. I found the int parts on E bay already and 1 piece of chrome.

Heading up to Libby in Sept. Friend are leaving in a week or two for Flathead Lake. They have a cabin on it. That is beautiful country.

At 18 I put my very first boat in at summers launch ramp on flathead. It is a great place. only problem is in the middle of summer water is still cold.
We used to put in at summers, boat all the way down the lake to polson, play a round of golf and run back to summers. About a 70 mile round trip.
My dad was born in libby. And my grandfather ran the mill over there till he took over the one in columbia falls. My Dad still lives in Kalispell as does my grandfather. I have a lot of reletives in libby. I love it up there but I just cant make any money.......
