I am using AOL MusicNet now but it sucks. I want something I can pay a certain fee and get unlimited downloads without having to pay extra to burn the songs to a CD.
I used to use Winmix but stopped because of viruses and "the man".
Thanks

There isn't a legal one with unlimited downloads that you can burn directly to cd. I use napster and load up my mp3 player. You basically rent the songs for 15 bucks a month. The price of one cd. Works for me.

I do buy good CD's, but most have 1-2 good songs and the rest is filler for $15. It's BS that I can buy a 2 hr DVD movie cheaper than a CD, tell me the recording industry isn't screwing us.
BTW, I am a cheap prick...so what! :)

Napster won't work with IPOD - gotta get Itunes.
Or get a different player, ie iRiver H10.

I almost hate to admit it, but I often raided the plastic recycle bins at work last summer for the I-Tunes "Free Download" winning Pepsi caps, and I also had lots of people giving them too me (felt sorry for the poor dumpster diving freak I guess :crossx: ) I did get almost 900 free songs though. Sometimes I even save up my allowance for a week or two and buy a song for 99cents :)

You can't. It only works with select mp3 players. That's why I don't have an iPod. :)

The work around is to play and record it in real time and then save it as an unprotected mp3. It just takes a lot of time, but their is also a program that does it for you.

I use allofmp3.com. Most of the songs are aroung .13 and they have a pretty good selection.
