Those 32's are 1 of the most beautiful boats ever built. There is one that has a slip by me at Katherines and I drool every time I walk past it. Some one is getting a great deal. Very very nice.

If we start some kind of "Hi" how are you conversation, we could keep the BUMP in place! Wish I could afford yours.....not the right time. Did Dan forward any pix of the 59' Campbell I bought? You might have seen it at the factory. One owner, 47 years! Included original build 35mm slides.
Hope to meet/see you sometime!

Hi Carl,
Danny and I wre together when we saw your Campbell at the factory, it is a really pretty boat, with a 401 Buick if I remember correctly. Nice package.

History of my 32' Spectra. I am the third owner, and have owned it for 3 & 1/2 years. I bought it from Denny Nish and Tommy Burrows, they owned it in a partnership for about 12 years or so, and the boat was kept at Denny's house in a garage in Las Vegas, and used in Lake Mead, Lake Powell, and the Colorado River around Needles. They bought the boat from it's original owner who was located in Oregon. I can't remember the original owner's name, but I would recognize it and I have it in the boat in Lake Havasu.

Free bump.
I grew up on one of these 32s that looked just like it. We had it until my dad made the Silverwing 34' V, which he then sold the mold to B. Bailey who took it to Hallett. They made only 3 boats I think under the Silverwing name.
I was thinking that it could have been our old boat.
Good luck.

Is the Silverwing 34 the same boat as the Hallet 34? What is your dad's name? How was Bud Bailey tied in to the equation?
Thanks for the info.
Dave

Same bottom and I think the same top, or very close to it. Bud went to work for Hallett and I was young when the deal went down, so I heard all this later once I was getting into boating, but we (dad) sold the mold to Bud as I was told and it became a Hallett boat.
We were on Powell about 7 years ago and ran into a guy with a Silverwing 34. At the time my dad had a 34 Hallett, and they looked nearly the same from the top deck. The guy had bought Herbst old Silverwing 34. Herbst was red trim, ours was blue, kind of like the Spectra.
If you are a Mead regular from back in the day, you probably know a few of my family members.

I knew there was some kind of tie-in with the 32' Spectra, the Silverwing, and the Hallett, and I knew Bud was involved, but didn't know the details. Interesting. They all have that little "swoop" on the side next to the motor box.

We are Havasu Regulars, haven't been to Mead in 20 years. But it sounds like it might be nice there, less crowded than Havasu. It is just so easy to go to Havasu with the house and boat there, I guess I am spoiled and don't want to tow long distances anymore. Although I would like to make a trip to Powell, never been there.

I saw you in the Spectra, nice boat! That needles marina is pretty shallow for v-drives, but comes in pretty handy when you're running up river on fumes...

Just dropped the price in the boat trader to $49,995 so I'll drop it here too.
Please let me know if anyone has any questions. I'll be in LHC this weekend if anyone wants to see the boat up close or go for a demo ride.
