Ontario used to fly into Phoenix then to Havasu...and that was 2 years ago!

There is a small charter company in Carlsbad that would fly there, buts not cost effective at all for me.......
I was trying to even find the Vegas airline that supposedly was to start flying Vegas/Carlsbad couple times a week.

I'm figuring the clientele is too risky on the ground let alone at 20,000 feet. I think they stopped out of fright. :D :D
Back when Havasu Airlines was in business if you got there early you could sit in the co-pilot seat for the flight. It was cool "coming in" over town, the bridge then landing on the island. Crap, that those days are gone!

It's all through Phoenix thats why and a non-compete LHC airport. At 5-6 hours for the door to door it would be crazy to fly.
BTW: We make it in the Cessna in 90 minutes and about 25 gallons. Something to think about. Get that license! :idea:

I recalled JetBlue flying from Long Beach direct and I went on line to poke around and that’s where I found the ridicules schedule.
I think a Greyhound bus is 15 miserable hours and I don’t think the Amtrak goes anywhere near Havi…
The Cessna looks like the “E-ticket” (unless you hit one of their crazy azz storms they have been having)

huh??? Never heard of that from a public airport. If another airline wanted to serve LHC, then they could. Of course the EAS (Essential Air Service) contract is only awarded to one airline. :idea:
