This is my little project... Yes its a Neon. (let the flames begin) its actually an SRT-4.
Im on my way to over 430fwhp and low 11sec timeslips. 25mpg+ :) Factory hp is still over 235fwhp. Dodge only claims 230 at the crank LOL.
The car is a 2005 (they dont make them any longer btw) with a little over 1900 miles on it. I dont drive it much, but it sure works over a lot of big V8s and euro stuff. My biggest problem is hooking up. Damn Fwd.
To tell you the truth, I have always had muscle cars but I thought this would be a fun project and it is. Seriously one of the funnest cars I have ever owned. My next venture when money allows is a 32 hi-boy.
Show me what you guys have. Im sure you guys own some awesome stuff. Definitely better than my rice rocket...LOL. I know Cole Trickle has a pretty sweet Corvette, lets see some more.

Oh yah...I got a V-10 12 passenger van that puts the hurt on most the rice burners with fart tubes. I love passing them on long on ramps and I will give them a cheers with my starbucks mug as I pass them.
Does it sound like a Viper, thats the question? :p

Does it sound like a Viper, thats the question? :p
Nope, it kind of sounds like the UPS truck. :D It has the biggest ugliest muffler I have ever scene - almost like a water heater is bolted to the bottom of my van. Luckily, my wife drives this barge.
That Neon is pretty sick. There is a guy on the boards with a hopped up Miata...perhaps you guys could race to San Francisco? :D

LOL... I call it a Neon too. The best part about it is when I woop on a guy with a 50,000 v8 he has to say he got beat by a Neon... :rollside:  :crossx:
I have owned 600hp late model Mustangs, and this car is just as fun. I bought my wife an 06 Durango and I wanted somthing besides a motorcycle to get to work on, so I bought this little car. I didnt think I would like it as much as I do.

My buddies Viper that I drive for him at the drag strip and Silver State top end runs:
http://www.speedcraving.com/extreme/viper/viper34006s.jpg
Makes 1547hp/1800ft-lbs at the wheels. A handful to drive is an understatement, but fun as hell.
Here's video of it on the dyno:

Here's a teaser of us playing with it when we got it back to Vegas the first time:

White SRT-4's look sweet
Seems like you don't see a ton of them(I know they only made them in 05)
Ours was black.I traded the orca wing for a SXT wing.I also had some nice 17's on it with a pro kit.
sweet little car....I think your fuel mileage is a tad bit optimistic;) we never saw over 200miles for a tank with Jen driving it:D

Cole, you run some fast times. Im a horrible drag racer. I have done tons of open track, VARA and some SCCA, but the drag thing is pretty new to me. I hope to be able to rip some good times in my Neon.

that is funny you say UPS truck, I have an old 1995 dodge 2500 truck w/ a v10 and after I put a new exhaust on it, true dual now, my sister thought I was the UPS truck delivering a package when I would show up at her house... being that she loves to shop from home......

This thread is about fast cars that are owned by people on this site. Its not about what you think is JUNK.
Cars are cool! Fast, slow, import, domestic, old and new. You must not be a car guy or else you would understand. You are probably more into womens clothes or somthing along those lines...

It's my favorite Lambo body style. I did get a chance to drive one years ago and loved it. I doubt I'll ever take the plunge on one. I was thinking a replica kit on a tube chassis with good ole American power. I've seen some nice Fiero conversions too. like this one (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Lamborghini-Countach-Replica-No-Reserve_W0QQitemZ270007423492QQihZ017QQcategoryZ62 90QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem) too bad it has a 2.8 in it.

I was going to attend the Div 7 race at Bakersfield to watch my friend jack Beckman race.
Used to frequent all the PSCA Races when my buddy Mike Pritchard (Stickman) used to race the '57.
A few of my other friends (Greg Aliano, Sneaky Pete) still race in the PSCA.
I will keep my eyes and ears open for you in regards to some sponsors.
