Beautiful 27' Magnum Sport that has been fully restored to new condition
Due to work and other projects, I have had little time to enjoy this boat and it doesn't look like it's going to be any different in the near or distant future.
All mechanical and cosmetic work done over the last 5 years.
MECHANICAL:
-350 Chevy engines with Vortec heads producing 400HP.
-Cranks have been nitrided.
-Competition racing cam.
-Crane Hydraulic roller rockers.
-Mercury Racing 700CFM carburetors.
-Stainless Marine exhaust manifolds.
-Rebuilt Borg Warner transmissions coupled to TRS drives with nose cones
-Marine Machine full hydraulic steering.
-Gaffrig stainless offshore sea strainers.
-Halon fire supression.
-Gaffrig gauges in custom red carbon fiber dash.
-K-Planes.
COSMETICS:
-All new upholstery.
-New paint with clear coat.
-All chrome or stainless fittings either replaced or re-chromed.
-New custom fairing.
-New Alpine sound system with amp.
-New fiberglass engine hatch cover with molded in scoops and upholstered sun pad.
TRAILER:
-American galvanized I-beam.
-New tires and bearings.
Since being restored the boat has been used in fresh water and has very low hours.
The boat has just been detailed and fully serviced.
TRS drives were removed checked and lubed as done every year. There were no signs of any wear.
Location: Clear Lake, Califonia

Can't believe no one has jumped on this boat.....It's like brand new everything and priced competitively.....would much rather have this and take it in the rough stuff then most of the 26-28 newer boats out there....maybe a little smaller feeling, but just like a having slim down Apache for the lake and the ocean...the Magnum name is as good as any in the Offshore biz....Good luck with the sale.

Magnum and Apache are both legendary hulls in their own right, but still very different. The smallest Apache (28' I believe) will still have a much taller freeboard than the Magnum. The Magnum, however, will be faster with similar power. This one, by the way, is as nice as they come. Slam dunk on the resto. :)

Lucky,
If you're in the area let me know.
I probably won't be at the lake until the weekend of Aug. 11th.
This boat was made to handle the rough. It is not happy in flat, clear, glassy water. That's when I take out my 18' boat.
Magnum's are made to tame rough water. It's not a 100mph speed demon but I have passed most boats when the water gets real snotty.
Thanks for the replies.

I love that boat, the ex-Raysoncraft, current Dana 27' splashed that boats bottom..but nothing beats the original...how fast does it run?

The boat runs between 65-68mph.
Not a speed demon but gets you there in comfort.

I'll be running the boat all this weekend on Clear Lake.
Stop me if you see me.
Boardstock on the lake is usually pretty busy!
