Anybody have an idea or know someone that does boat shipping....ie: what it would cost to ship a boat from Wisconsin to AZ? 21' boat.

My buddy had a 25 trailered from Minnesota to Cali and I believe it was about $2k. Cost goes up a lot if you want it put on a flat bed type of setup.

Thnx...BTW, I think you we have some mutual friends as you know Bob and Jon....
Was it on a flatbed for 2K or towed?

Nothing yet, but the search is definitely narrowing to about 3 boats and I am trying to sort out the particulars...

Nice! Can't wait to see what you get tied to the dock. Did you ever go for a ride in OP's 210?

No...unfortunately not....I have only saw it on the water once, so I am thinking like JRock, that he is a little bit afraid it....j/k:)
I am sure I would crap my pants in it....no doubt:)

If you could get a full interior in that boat it would be the most sick Parker rocket, EVER. I think that 210 is the shit.

Roughly @ $1.10 per mile with a starting fee of some sort, usually a few hun.

That sounds about right, TPC. I have a few friends in the trucking/towing biz. If you could wait a few weeks to catch an LTL you could do it on a truck for a good rate. Did you try Jeff Murray?

I've had 2 boats shipped from Chicago area, the rate was $1.35- $1.85/mile. One was a 25' and one was 35'.

The boat that was towed was Bob's. They guy just towed it behind his truck using the boat trailer. Just like one of us trailering are boats around. If he wanted it on a car hauler or flatbed, that was a lot more $$$$.
The trailer sustained some damage along the way that Bob had to fix.
You must be a co-worker of Jon's?

Call Don Miles at 512-917-2288. He's an old retired dude that used to pitch
for the LA Dodgers back when Walter Alston was the manager and Sandy Koufax and Don Drysdale was there. He' a cool ole guy to talk with about
baseball. He's done some boats to the east coast for us and no problems.

Don't know anything about shipping but a couple weeks ago I rode in a buddy of mine 1982 21 foot Schiada at about a 100mph and it was surprising smooth. Still a little scary :) He had some sort of twin turbo setup.
