The motor I have is a 454 LS6. I just had the heads redone (990 casting square ports) and everything was replaced. New valves, guides, springs, retainers, locks etc. The short block consists of 11.5 compression TRW forged pistons (actual compression is 11.89), dimple rods, steel crank, 4 bolt main, Isky Z89 solid lifter cam (.636 lift, 256 durration @.50 on 108 lobe cntr) and a double roller timing chain. The intake is an Edelbrock TR2X polished tunnel ram with 2 660 center squirter carbs. It also comes with a high torque mini starter, Aluminum flywheel and 120 amp polished alternator , MSD pro billet distributor, wires and coil. This motor is complete and ready to run. $3,000 You supply the pan and headers!!! This thing runs hard and has less than 4 passes. Just sold the boat and am picking up the new one Friday. No room motor has to go!!!!
