Alright, here is the deal, this thing needs to go down the road ASAP! I am willing to let this thing go for well below fair market value!
The boat will be stamped as a 2005 (maybe 2006) before it leaves. It is available with existing motor, with custom motor, or with new Merc. motor. I am willing to let the boat go for $60K less engine. It will go with the B-max on the back and all other running gear. If someone decides to go with a new Merc. package, I can get them for 5-7% above dealer cost. I will switch the motor out free of charge. Any new Merc. motor will come with a 1 year factory warranty.
If someone wants to go with a Merc Motor in the boat, I will let the hull go for $55K provided that I get to keep the drive and gimbal out of the motor package. I need them for my next boat.
Boat will be perfect at time of delivery. If someone goes with a Merc. package or a custom motor (non blower) I will have a new hatch made up and installed prior to the boat being sold.
If someone wants the boat with engine, I will take it to your mechanic of choice and have it 100% checked out. If they find anything wrong with it, I will fix it at no cost. The drive has all new internals and the engine has 1 hour dyno time on it since it was completely rebuilt. 985h.p. on pump gas (detuned). I will take $75K for it right now turn key ready to go.
Everything that you could want on a 25' cat is in this boat. Full Hydraulic steering, halon system, Gaffrig gages, engine lights, custom interior, INSANE stereo, ski locker, front bow storage, all S.S. braided lines, Imco Fuel Valve, 4 optima blue tops, extra grab handles, polished engine compartment, etc. There will be no dissapointments here! Built by me while rigging for Carrera for me. It has the best of everything and the TLC to put it all together properly. :)

one bad ass awesome boat Danny, I have always loved carreras....... good luck on the sale..have to admit this is probably a better deal then mine if you like open bows.... again someone will get a great boat at a great price

How will this thing run with a 496HO? What would insurance be with the HO in it?

The thing would probably run in the low to mid 70's with a 496ho in it. Not exactly sure how insurance would be. Probably somewhere between 2500-3500/year.

Don't know. I never had to individually insure this boat. I have always run it with manufacturers numbers. Since I am a manufacturer it was always in inventory. Any time it went out we were "testing." ;)

Right now it is still in the showroom. Very shortly it is going to be pulled out of the showroom, cleaned up, and the engine replaced with a 496ho. If someone wants it turn key, you better get it now. Once it has a 496 in it, the old motor is NOT going to go back in. I already have another use for this motor. ;) You have basically 1 week (at most) to get this boat turn key.
