That sucks.......
I know it is worthless without pics, but some folks from Minnesota tried to land their brand new 28' Advantage on their aluminum trailer this weekend, but it floated everytime they put it in the water.......

The best part was the guy was standing on the hood just after it went in and he was yelling that the engine was still running :)
Heard the next day that he started it at the ramp and drove back to his site; then called a truck in from town for a tow.
'bout time RR. Nice pics.

Similar thing happened at Pyramid Lake a few weeks back. Some woman said her truck quit when she was in the launch ramp and sunk her '04 Chevy 1500.

I dont see a trailer??
That would be a little Questionable to have the insurance company pay for??
My dad lost a POS ranger on a ramp unloading a 14' aluminum boat years ago....Steep ramp and the Parking break slipped off while he was back at the boat.
Managed to jump in the truck before it totally went under But the truck water line up on the windshield was a total loss....The POS Ranger did have issues already and the insurance did pick up the bill.
20 Years back one of the guys I went to school with was teaching a girl how to drive on a canal bank....the dirt road turned She didn't (splash they went...Big canal) Of course looking back now he thinks that might not have been the best idea he had
Car was not paid for and the insurance (something about a dog ran out in front of them?????) did pick up the bill.

The only thing that was running was his wipers when it came out of the water ..i'm one of the guys standing on the side.
If you look close you can see his buisness cards floting in the water, there were hundreds of them(free advertising).

One hell of a expensive way to do some advertising. :rollside:
I also had that company on some of my projects back around 9/11 doing some concrete work at DCA and I think they had some casino work for the company I was with up in Vegas. Imagine trying to explain what the hell happend to your boss. :crossx:

I'll have to agree with Angry Dad.That is not bad luck that is stupidity. You create your own bad luck in life.Very few things in life are out of your control.I'm sure the guy didn't put it in park or didn't set the parking brake tight enough or at all.

thats funny,,,here what i think happened. He must have had a watercraft in the back,he went to unload without anyhelp,so he backed way in,tailgate in the water.when he went to pull put the ramp is real steep and very slippery at bml,I would guess the tires spun,he went backwards, then panicked
