Up from Kathrines usually just past the power lines on the left. Prolly the big sandy beach or the deep one just around the corner. Red and white 26 elim. I met some cool peeps in steamboat at the begining of the season in the same kinda lightning. Their son threw and anchor at a guy. Is that you?

You can drive apx 1 hour (maybe less) and launch at Cottonwood Cove. Head up river from there for some great water and scenic landscape.

Cool thanks. I usually just go to Mead or Havasu. Mead is only 15 min for me so that is my usual spot.

we were thinking of heading up there...
but forecast calls for rain/thunderstorms and we had enough of those when we were up there for the 4th of july
