View Full Version : SPAM - 1" setback hydraulic jackplate

sorry dog

I used this plate a while back on my Hydrostream Vector. I had a heavy motor on it, so going from a 5.5 setback CMC to this plate helped the weight balance a lot. I have no idea who made it...I've only seen ones like in pics so I'm guessing somebody just did a limited run of these things.
$180 plus shipping. I'll throw in the 3/8" alum plate that is drilled for it for another $20 + added shipping.

The Good:
Relatively light
1" setback
big range (like 5 or 6 inches)
The not as good:
Six bolt mounting pattern to transom ( it's BIA on plate)
MUST be mounted on completely flat surface or will bind
It's harder to seal the rigging than most plates
it's slow going up compared a CMC and works pretty slow when under full power (but down is a little better)
