IÂ’m looking for a place to launch on the Arizona side of the river. I will be traveling down from Havasu and want to spend a day on the river, but not sure where to launch. I would like to launch between the dam and before Road Runner. So any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

We always launch from Castle Rock, it is never crowded and the current won't get in the way when launching or retrieving your boat. I don't know if they are open to the public though, every time we have been there, we have had friends and family staying there.

Ditto, just watch for the end of the ramp at real low water levels. Also a funky reverse current right at the ramp. Otherwise nice spot.
No dock just a ramp. However, there is some sand on the beach if you need to exchange people and stuff.

Lol, the beanie is only for when I am on the water in winter time bro. Do you stay there a lot? We usually go because my wifes cousins stay there.

Not up river like you asked, but Bluewater will cost ya a ten spot, no current, security in the parking lot, and plenty of doc space if you need it.

I use the launch at the day camp just north of the sheriffs station. Free, paved parking and sheriffs close by. Remember it a day camp, closed at night but I leave my truck and trailer there all weekend..
