Does anyone have a Gator that they pull their boats with? I will be pulling an 18' jet with mine. Any problems or upgrades to help?

I have an 02
Pulls nice with a 21' v drive. should haul ass with an 18'.
If you have a newer version should be even better with the independent suspension and 6 speed trans.

I pulled my 20' Hawaiian from lower Michigan to northwestern Minnesota with a lincolin town car and got 17.5 mpg. I think the 'gator can handle it

I've pulled my 19 foot jet and 18 foot flat with a wagon.
A Yugo will pull a small jet.

I've got an 01' that I purchased new. It has 90k and has never been into the shop except for routine maint. I pull a 21ft Ski Centurian, a 24 ft enclosed trailer and my 28ft Advantage Sport Cat with twin BBC. No problem with any of them. They have load levelers all around and tow fantastic. Hell you will barley notice an 18 behind when towing.
Darrell.

Thanks for all the input. I did not think there would be any problem. We just bought our '05 with 12000 miles today from our neighbor. Smokin deal, could not pass it up.

Thanks. I've had a lot of fun with that boat over the years.
That boat would do 49 mph with an aluminum prop when I bought it. With a small ear chopper I got to 55 mph.
That seemed fast back then.
Now I've got a modified 2.5l EFI on the old 16 foot 'Tron and it will do 60.

Yes. It's a close cousin to the real James Bond boat... that being the Glastron GT-150.
Of course every Glastron or Carlson that comes up on eBay... and some other brands... are listed as the James Bond boat. :D
