Just found out Toyota is making a full size Tundra that will be able to tow the big boys........... I'm not a big fan, but just found it interesting.
They will be available with a V8 and will be 1/8" shorter than a dually (cab area) so you won't have to have all of the running lights and what not.
I wonder if a lot of boat owners will jump on these???
I myself, will always stick with Chevy even though they probably won't last as long as a Toyota..

But when will they make it in a hybrid? Make a truck that can tow with a hybrid and you will sell them like hotcakes.

Really want one of the new tundras, but need to wait out that first year deal. Not that if any thing breakes wouldn't be covered under toyota. Also have to see it in person to make sure it fits in the garage. My veiw on the new truck is that it will last forever and with diesel so much here it makes sense to drive a gaser. Plus the interior looks like a LEXIS. Have to make sure the wife is happy on the road trips.

I wanted one of the new double cabs and was hoping to get one but the old Dakota didnt want to wait that long. Had to dump the Dakota when the transmission went out in the Toyota dealer parking lot.

I've heard from some very reliable sources that the truck will eventually be available as a Hybrid, which will be more powerful than the gas motor, and then as a diesel. :)

Hybrids can pull.... Saw a Prius towing a jetski today leaving Bullhead. Funniest thing I've seen in a long time...

Should give the Big 3 a run for their money with the Allison Trans and Diesel Engine.

yeah but you know how it is, it is an ongoing battle with Chevy, Toyota, Nissan, Ford and Dodge. Someone will improve and then so will the rest of the manufacturers. Just wait till the coming years to see what type of engines will be in these trucks?????? Semi engines........

Pretty soon they will have so much torque you will be able to tow your house right off your property.

Think most of the diesels can do that now.
