I need some ideas...my dad's birthday is coming up in a couple weeks and I want to get him some sort of boat/lake toy. Budget up to $200. This is a guy who has everything or can afford anything he wants...so I'd like it to be unique and just something fun for him to have.
Looking forward to your suggestions :rollside:

Cant remember what they are called but they are electric, you hold onto them and they pull you around in the water.

Soft bumper pads are nice (for sides)
Sony Remote for his stereo (water proof on back of transom) should be an affordable add on to his stereo
Maybe some billet speaker covers
Gift certificate for a boat detail is always nice
Boat detail kit (boat bling, hot sauce etc)

Seascooter by SeaDoo, but the only ones that are worth it start at $400.00. I have the Seascooter GTI and everybody digs it.

Those are nice although pricey. For a few hundred $ you might get 2 towels.

Thanks. I knew someone would know what they are called. They look like they would be fun to cruise on.

The GTI is $400.00 at Sport Challet, you can see it HERE (http://www.dixiediver.com/seascooters.htm) it is the first (the gray one) one. It is electric and the battery is suppose to last 90 minutes, but we have gotten two hours out of it. I am about to buy another battery because everybody wants to be on it all the time. Amazing but before I purchased it, nobody cared less when I brought it up, now, they all want to be on it. Too bad for them, I bought it for the kids.

It is, even the wife wants her turn on it. There was a guy at Steamboat and he had one just like ours and he also had the gas operated one, I never saw them use the gas powered one though, I don't know why.. Here is a pic of my son having a blast on it.

I think I get promoted to professional fluffer once I accept payment...which may or may not have happened :rollside: Does winning a $1 bet count? :p

If he doesn't already have one, I would recommend the soft sided cooler from american outdoors. You can get it embroidered with a boat name or anything else really, and it's not overly expensive. Onw of the best investments we have...and we now have all different kinds and sizes. :rollside:

Approx 20-30 minutes and they scoot. Then it takes about 30-40 minutes to recharge after the battery cools down ( it comes with a 12v cig lighter charger ). Like I said Shadow and I had a blast with them. Awsome under $100.00 toy.
