Sounds about right, Maybe a 24 4 blade for the extreme heat

26 if the boat is full of people and stuff,28 if you want to do some cool weather speed runs and 28 labbed if you want an in between prop. All Bravo 1's from Merc.Keep an eye on the labbed blades if you do get one.check for cracks everday.

Good advice, I missed a lake test on a 28 Daytona (120mph) when I noticed that one of the props had a hairline crack on one blade tip, Cuz says no way, not safe, DARN :yuk: NSF

what RPMS' are you running at WOT?
I got the same boat but with the small motor (496) cuz I ain't a big pimp like these guys..... ;) ;)
but I run a 26P and it works just fine. I am almost on the rev limiter most days. so if I am running a 26 with a 496 you should try a 28 for the 525.
I say test a 28P for high speed runs. Keep the 26P for those "heavy" days because it will get you out of the hole faster.
I like the RPM's to be just a few under the rev limiter at WOT.
(higher pitch less RPM, lower pitch more RPM, etc. etc.)
