I have been lucky from the 6 times i got the jury duty letter in the mail I only had to go down 1 time. I wrote out a nice letter worked 5 out of the 6 times. :)

I have been called all but 2 years, since I was 18. I have been ether on or a alternate all but 1 time. I have tried every thing to get off. I mean everything from, "if he was arrested he is guilty" to "I hate all of those "insert racial slur" and even "insanity is the only way out for ppl that are guilty".
None of them worked...

well, folks................I made it out alive with the cooperation of my boss and company.
It got down to the last Jury pool ( after not being selected on 3 cases ) and it looked like we were going home around 11:30 when "the woman" came in and anounced " we have a new case starting, it is a 7 weeks criminal trial, and no one is excused unless, 1. financial hardship ( company wont pay for time off for jury duty ) 2. care issues ( doctor, dentist ) and thats it.
So I called the Boss and asked him if I get paid for jury duty for that long , he said "NO". And BADA BING BADA BOOM I was on my way out to the parking lot a free man. I even had 4 min left on my parking.
And thats my story for today kids
