Looking for some place in the IE to find LED lights for the boat trailer. Do they seem to hold up better then the standard lights?

I bought these ones off this guy on E-bay. Super BRIGHT :220v: . Not the cheap kind you see. So far I have had them a year and no problems. They get dunked regularly in salt even. I just worry about someone ripping them off  . Plus he gives you a super deal if you buy more then 2. :) I think I paid $40 for 4 + $8 for shipping. These are the same ones you see on gasoline tankers on the road.

If you want some Clear LED's give me a call. I still have some Clear ovals and side markers from when I was in the marine biz.. ;) I'll let them go alot cheaper then anyone else. Say 20 bucks an oval?

I switched to LED a couple years ago because they are brighter and I think safer because of the ""instant on" that LED's give when you apply your brakelight, almost like a flash, the brake lights seem to get your attention much better than the incandesent bulbs do even in bright sunlight.
And considering how low the lights are on most boat trailers, I think they are much better suited for them. May just stop someone from running into the back of your boat.
Make sure the lights you get are sealed for submersion in water.
I have been replacing lights on my truck and trailer with LED's a little at a time.
All of our ambulances we are ordering now are being equipped with all LED lighting.
I haven't any trouble with mine at all... and they get wet every weekend.
Hope this helps.

Here is the best pricing I have found. They have the large oval, 56 light, for under $20 bucks. LED Lights (http://www.superbrightleds.com/cgi-bin/store/commerce.cgi?product=TRUCK)

LED's are definitely the way to go. Just keep an eye out for them since remember Dan (H20Toie) had his stolen from his trailer.

I still have 2 different style of LED's left. I have clear Ovals (clear corners for trailers) that have 10 Large LED's that light up dark red..
I also have 48 Diode LED's that can be POP RIVETED to your trailer (if you goto Havasu where the holmies hang) so they can't be stolen...
I'll let them go for 15 bucks an Oval + shipping.. Or I can hook up out at the river to save you the 10 bucks on shipping.

Thanks for all the feed back I'm looking for the rectangle style lights to replace the existing. I'll check some of the places that people mentioned and see what i find. I'd like to put some on in the next week or so but may wait till I get up to Havasu in the next couple weeks.
