Amazing.
We were at the sand bar during the regatta and three years after we bought our Tige', ya can still tell which new Tige's had their sound systems installed by the Tige' dealer.
The sound system would cut out and quit, come back on,, cut out and quit again.
Ya'd think after 4 years, Tige' would find the problem.
They feel real good about sticking the buyer with problems like these.
Nice boats, we'll probably buy another soon, but get the tower and sound system installed elsewhere.

The softball news release from the tribe didn't use the proper terminology.
Bacteria should have been e-coli
Headache & Nausea = Shigella (Google it)
Heaven forbid if all those wake board boats decided not to come and spend money, just because of a serious lower intestinal disorder.

Biggest complaint were the speed traps in town.
Un-reasonable posted speeds, and unreasonable treatment of those stopped and written by the Parker PD.

Can't speak about any unreasonable treatment, but as for speed traps, there are no such things in La Paz County or Parker.
A speed trap would be a poorly marked 25 MPH zone, arbitrarily placed along a 65 MPH highway.
35 MPH in a business district, which is well posted, is NOT a speed trap.
Tell the complainers to lift their right foot.
I went up to Parker Strip Grill (from town) for dinner tonight in my own (not police) car. People were passing me through town at 55 MPH+. (35 Zone) And while I was doing 55-60 (posted 55 MPH) on the highway past the Casino, I was nearly run off the road by idiots in trucks, (many towing boats) cars, SUVs, etc. doing 75-80.
The one common denominator in all of them were CA license plates.
I have no sympathy for anyone getting speeding tickets, and freely hand them out myself.

New vehicles glide when ya lift the right foot, and one can pick up a few MPH in a short distance, especially downhill off the Parker bridge.
I get stopped from time to time by La Paz sheriffs and never have a problem,, it ALWAYS goes smoothly.
Getting gas at the ARCO watching the Parker PD nail people coming off the bridge is another story.
People are punch struck from 5 hours on the road, and the speed can get away from them picking up a few MPH easily gliding down off the bridge.
Parker PD knows this and writes away anyway. For just a few MPH over 35.
35 on that stretch is un-reasonable Alan.
And the way the Parker PD reacts to the people they pull over is way over kill.

I'll second that....nothing pisses me off more than when "they" cruise around not towing anyone with full ballast tanks.
At least for the most part the bigger boats will give you a little room when they go by...I've had wakeboard boats come within 5 feet (Keep in mind there was plenty of room to not come that close) with full ballast as were floating. WTF!! Do they not realize how big their wake is behind them....not to much common sense left on the water these days.

They realize it. They simply dont care.
If you have a wakeboard boat, one of the most important buying aspects is the wake and how big and clean the boat can produce a wake. There is not 1 wakeboard boat owner that doesn't understand how big their wake is. That is one of the main selling points for wakeboard boats.
