Im gonna lift my truck this week but it must fit in the garage Im putting 20's on it and I was trying to figure out how high it would be with a 6 inch lift so if anyone has one lifted with wheels on it could you measure it from the roof to the ground. I would appreciate it thanks Rob

7'2" to the roof, not counting the lights on top.
37s on 20s. 6" Superlift with spacers too.
But it's going back to stock this week. I must be getting old, I hate the way this thing rides since I lifted it.

oh man John, the truck looks pretty cool like this. it just won't look right being stock again.
my truck has a 9 inch lift, 37's on 20's and I think it's close to 8 ft tall. it won't even come close to fitting in the garage. I need to move and get a bigger garage so I can park it inside.

I think I'm going to roll it stock for a while before I sell everything just in case. I've never left a vehicle stock before, so I don't know how much I'm going to like it. I may end up lifting it again if the ride isn't that much better.

Sell him the lift and give him the truck with it. Go back to Chevy and you will be much happier. People can't believe how nice mine rides. Besides Ultra's just look better behind Chevy's. :D

I don't sit in the back but let's face it if you really want room back there in any brand you need a crew cab. As far as the front seat I am 6'7" and I am plenty comfortable and there are not many vehicles I can say that about. I will say that I wish the pedals were adjustable like in my Malibu or that they were closer to the firewall becaue that takes away room from the right leg but I guess they gotta make it so John and the other short people can drive them. :D I'll take my Vortec gasser over a Hemi anyday. And if I were to go diesel I think I would rather have a D-max then a Cummins as well. Anyways, it's all just opinion. I was just giving John some crap.

Hvatan, UJ,
how does the dodge ride with the Kelderman set up?
the airbags have to be somewhat cushy, are the compressors loud when in use? how quick can the height be adjusted?
thanks

Well that is kinda funny im 6'5" and I really had a hard time finding room in the front seat of my gmc crew cab. I have way more room in the Dodge and Fords have more room then chevys and gmcs to. Just my opinion and also I would rather have a power plant that has been proven and been around forever go CUMMINS :)

I think the room is fine. Not saying that it's not bigger in the other trucks on the current models(aren't the new ones going to be bigger?) I just said I fit. But I bet if I sat in something bigger I wouldn't complain about it. As far as engines I'm not going to start that debate as I'm a gasser but if you want to debate go talk to the mechanics when you go into the hub. I bet you get more votes for GM than Dodge. :argue: :rollside: :rollside: :rollside:

UN-FREAKIN-BELIEVABLE!!!
You would be shocked at how it absorbs road conditions. The only drawback is... NOT ENOUGH TITTY BOUNCIN' ON THE 10!!! :p But, my kidneys don't hurt after driving from San Bernardino to LA. It is also fully capable of going off-road. I don't think I could ever go back to springs again, they just ride like crap, even at a 4-6" lift.
The compressors aren't loud at all (in the cab). It only takes a matter of seconds (maybe 20-30) to go from all the way down to all the way up. Plus all the other benefits... Like AIR HORNS and adding an air fitting to air up tires in Glamis and taking off 32 lugs with an air gun ANYWHERE!
By far the beauty of it all is the towing. Like Toby said, you can back up to the trailer, let the air out of the back, drive under the tongue and air back up to lift the trailer (NO MORE CRANKING THE STAND). Plus, almost 10,000 lbs. of vertical lift to level any trailer you would ever tow or whatever you're carrying in the bed.
Expensive, but it's the last lift kit you'll ever buy!!!
I'm gonna switch out the 40s for 37s and I don't need to pay to lower the truck to look right... I'm just gonna let out some of the air and resave the height settings.

No... It IS a Kelderman lift. UnionJack has the other lift. HavaTan has the Kelderman. It is the 10-12" lift and was at the Off-Road expo last year. I think it'll be at Pomona this year too.

It is the Pro Comp stuff. Not the most expensive but it works well. That is my friends truck. Our tow vehicle was hit, so he had to tow me to Havasu last weekend... :(
The suspension looks similar to this set up. Rides pretty good but a little bouncy.
good luck and post some pix.
