Do many of you folks go out on the lake in the winter months? November through Feb or so? Just wondering. We go out on Mead in the winter. Its pretty neat. Not too many people out there.
Just wondering if Havasu has many boaters in those months.
Thanks in advance and have a great day.

what's cool is at Black Meadow in the winter, the snowbirds hit the rack at, like 5:00. You can really cause an uproar if you do outrageous stuff like crack open a beer at 6:00 - every rv light within 150 feet goes on and little tiny heads peer out of the windows...very entertaining!!!

I find myself alone in the chanell, freezin with many beers and fish on the boat...It's great here in the winter...you get all the work done on your house and have plenty of time to fish.....till it gets under 70 then I stay home....

Oh, Havasu in the winter, the air is crisp, clean and smells of Ben-Gay. :D
We go as much in the Winter as we do in the other season. It truly is nice.

We go year around, well except for December. To us, there is no winter in Havi.

We go year round. It's pretty cool. No lines. Flat water. I miss getting in the water though and can't wait for it to warm up. :)

I never stop boating.
Oct, Nov, Dec, Jan, Feb are great at Havi.
No launch lines and smooth water.

I can't imagine not going in the "winter" months. Christmas day we wake up, let kids open gifts and eat breakfast. Then we head out to go play at Havasu for the week while they are outta school. The water is cooler but the weather is still warm enough to enjoy. If the kids want to play in the water we take them to the aquatic center for a few hours.

Speaking of the water in the winter......A bunch of buddies and I decided to go tubing in the middle of Dec., I was the only smart one who brought a wetsuit (and I was still freezing cold when I hit the water). It was pretty funny to watch all my friends turn blue when they got dumped in the drink. I go bodyboarding at Huntington quite often in the winter and to me the Havasu water felt colder then the ocean.

We go out just as much in the Winter time as the Summer time. Two to Three times a month. Hanging out in the Channel over the Thanksgiving Holiday is great. Usually alot of boat out that weekend (weather permitting).
