"hick-up" .... :yuk: that's why i stay home on the obnoxious weekends - can you say "entrapment" ?? :argue:
It's only entrapment if they force you to drink, force you to drive, then arrest you for it.
A drunk driver is a homicide suspect out looking for a victim.

I don't understand why anyone would have to be more careful because of a checkpoint?

Entrapment? I thought that was when they enticed you to do something you normally wouldn't do. Not when they caught you doing something that's the norm for ya........
Disclaimer: when I say you and ya, I don't mean you, TPC, specifically :D

If you get buzzed driving to Havi your an idiot. That person should be caught. I've been on to many DUI wrecks that have killed innocent people. If the heads up about the check point keeps that "idiot" from driving I really appreciate it.

so if l.e. is hiding with a radar and they trap speeders all day, is that forcing the driver to "speed" (not arguing :argue: ) just want to clarify my wrong use of words ("entrapment")
en‧trap‧ment  /ɛnˈtræpmənt/ Pronunciation Key - Show Spelled Pronunciation[en-trap-muhnt] Pronunciation Key - Show IPA Pronunciation
–noun
1. the luring by a law-enforcement agent of a person into committing a crime.
Entrapment is not the act of LE catching or trapping wrong doers, but rather coercing normally upright persons to do something wrong and then busting them for it.
