… so I sent my camera in for service. I dropped it off in person in another city. When it was done, I paid using a credit card over the phone and asked them to ship it. I asked if they were going to use UPS to which he replied, “No. We’ve had far too much broken equipment using UPS in the past. We use EGL now.
The box and contents are pristine so IÂ’m happy enough with EGL.
I was in a hurry for the camera so I paid for 2nd day service. That was last Monday. It got here just now. 9 days. Had they have used UPS, I'm sure I would have received a box of rubble 6 days ago.
The lesson IÂ’ve learned in all of this is that you canÂ’t fukking win.
