I keep hearing rumors that diesel engines will be required to test bi-annually soon. Anyone have any info??

Heres some info (http://www.dieselnet.com/news/1998/06ca.php)
they are just checking for black smoke at wieght stations. Its still illegal to blow black smoke form your diesel. Alot of states now have smog checks for diesels, so its just a matter of time b4 CA does.

Ever watched the graders on housing projects around southern Cal.
Talk about black smoke...I believe farmers are untouchable also

Here in Nevada, Diesels have to get tested every year.

Reno has smog testing if not over 10,000 lbs gvw.
