Had lots of lightning Wed night and even some rain. I was at work during most of the storm. My work is just up from Windsor beach. I stepped outside with my camera a started taking photos of the lightning. This one is looking towards Havasu landing on the CA side.

Another great picture!
I was in town Friday into Monday and saw a bit off in the distance. I will be out a week from Friday. It seem you have some pull around town, see if you can arrange a bitchen' light show on the south side late on the 16th?? :p
Thanks Mike!!

Thanks everyone! Just got home from chasing another severe thunderstorm tonight here in Havasu. I left work at midnight and drove out to Sara Park. It was going off big time!!! I witnessed 1000's and 1000's of lightning flashes up in the sky just about a mile up from me. It was just me and the lightning and it was putting on a very good show for me. My camera was snapping photos left and right for over a hour. I'll post a couple of what I captured tonight later.

WOW, great pic's, can't wait to see more, I can't belive the storms you guy's are having this year, and so many of them, Over here we have not had to many this year, Infact we only had a few in the spring and that was it, very little rain to.

I was afraid the electricity might go out, so I went to the refrigerator, performed last rights on the beer, and then put each one out of their misery.

thanks for all the comments!
That storm last night was crazy, yet it only produced very few cloud to ground lightning strikes in a 6 hr period. So really I wasn't able to capture much of really anything but just a bunch of flashes going on up in the clouds. Out to 500 photos I took, only a few bolts were visible with this storm.

I saw that same transformer blow also, I was at work during the first part of the storm. Didn't see any lightning hit when it blew.
