Super Guppy. Agree, sure is one ugly sucker. Basically, going to be used for transporting 787 wings from Taiwan to WA for final assembly.

Sweet,
So now we have a MAJOR US airline manufacturer buying critical subassemblies from a communist country?
What are we thinking?
Building a communist country's military up? Great idea.

Boeing has been getting sub assemblies from over there for years, nothing new.

You don't seem to have a good grasp of the superficial.
We are ***boat. We need to ride around on blinged out golf carts, make ice drinks with supercharged, gas powerred blenders with flame paint jobs, and make sure our women have the biggest tits out there.

Hate to tell you this but Taiwan is not a communist country. Taiwan is the little China. The big China (Red Chinese) is the communist country. The big China would like nothing better than to invade the island of Taiwan and take it back. But of course the US wouldn't stand for any of that.

Well all i know is that we have ordered some of the 47-400's for our fleet and are rethinking the whole Airbus 480 deal we have going , and that the airport we operate out of Ontario,Ca. has been widening all of the runways and taxi ways to accomodate these two aircraft, I'm in Flight Ops for UPS

ooops yeah 380, you should see the matrix we'll have to follow to get her loaded, incredible, and tolerances are so close it's going to be a nightmare.
It seems like Airbus is always coming up with some new aircraft i guess i got ahead of them... My Bad....

Here's a list of who's building what for the 787. I've been involved with the 787 floor beams here in Tulsa, OK. http://www.boeing.com/commercial/787family/dev_team.html

Yes, the tail swings away for loading. The Airbus Super Guppy has a swing away nose for loading.
