A buddy of mine was over a Site-6 over this past weekend and emailed me these nice photos of what looks like a Water Rod Cat that went down after launching. I guess he forgot to put the plug in or something. He said both blower motors were under water before they pulled it up on the soft concrete.
By the way thanks Rick good job man.

(their) but otherwise, DITTO! Unless you have a leak of course but then the bilge pumps should take care of any leaks.

I saw this boat a few different times this weekend. If you saw who was driving it, it would answer all of your questions.
Was there a regatta or something this weekend, becasue there were a bunch of "water rod" owners out on Sunday and in some big boats.

I think they were filming a rap video or somthing.....There was some sexy huge female water rod owners at Martini Bay Friday night that were wearing clothes that they really shouldn't have been.

I saw that boat on the trailer outside of Audio Innovations on Foothill in Glendora a few weeks ago. I don't understand the look of that thing at all, the transom, is well, weird.

Agreed... but if I had a leak, I sure as hell would have it fixed instead of pulling the plug to fix the problem

Why wouldn't they name the boats something more fitting like
"It's in my momma's name"
"I got what you need"
"This stuff here sells itself"
"Never Worked"
"Drugs Pay.. and Pay Well"
"What's a W-2?"

I pull my plug everytime I pull my boat out of the water. It sits low in the water so sometimes I get water in the back. But I've been pretty good about putting it in before I even get close to putting it in the water. Hell usually when I arrive at the house I just go and put it in. The night before that is. :rollside:

Im starting to see a trend with water rod cats and launch ramps. (if anyone remembers that pic of the water rod that fell off the trailer a couple years back. Maybe the owners.?.?.? I think Scoopy should spend more time showing the people that bought the boats how to properlly use them, instead of being mr drill sargent slamming his fist all over his boats to proove how strong they are. :)

I think thats Scoopys new boat. It was in powerboat mag a year or so ago. I think they have only made 2 of those 31 cats and I think that one is his. It has twin teague 800's.

There are 2, and that one has twin 800's but it's not Scoopy's. I'm told by a reliable source that it was not a plug problem, the boat hit something in the water that damaged the hull but was not identifiable at speed. When they slowed at Site 6, they started taking on water and were forced to run it up to the ramp or sink.

My winch never gets disconnected till the back of the boat is in the water for just that reason.

I'm anal. Since I saw that picture a couple of years ago not only does the winch not get detached but I also have a second strap that I have hooked on. The both get attached before pulling out of the water too.
