Nextel dealer/ GPS question

I am a tad paranoid that my phone is being 'pinged'. Is there anyone here that can tell me whether my phone is being hit or not?

Well to be honest, you can be more or less "tracked" by which cell tower your phone is getting signal from anyway. Everyone has the same problem if their cell is on as they travel down the road.

Don't worry, all Nextel's with GPS do that. I think that is the last time the GPS on the phone got a lock on the Sat's.

The latest news I was told by Nextel was that if I have some type of tracking on my phone, I would notice the necessary software. I would obviously know if software was installed wouldnt I?
